DeepKalp Ayurveda
Panchkarma
Five classical shodhana procedures for deep detoxification, pain relief and rejuvenation.
Summary
What is Panchkarma?
Panchkarma is Ayurveda's classical five-fold purification system, used to clear accumulated toxins (ama) and restore dosha balance. A course runs in three stages: purvakarma, the preparation phase of internal and external oleation (snehana) and therapeutic sweating (swedana); pradhankarma, the main procedure — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya or Raktamokshana — chosen for your condition and constitution; and paschatkarma, the structured post-care of graded diet (samsarjana krama), herbal support and lifestyle guidance that makes the results last.
